Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point, Mexico

We took a trip to Puerto Penasco, Mexico... also known as Rocky Point. It is located on the north shore of the Sea of Cortes (Gulf of California) and is only about 4 hours from Tucson. We went for 2 days, and had a lot of fun hanging out on the beach, swimming at the hotel, exploring the tide pools and shopping in the town.

The girls got their hair braided by some local women.

Kailey found a star fish, the girls really liked it.

After we found some shells along the beach, the girls had fun making a sand castle and using the shells to decorate it.
