A Proud Moment

Yesterday I got to volunteer in Kailey's classroom. It was a lot of fun getting to see all the things she does at school. At the end of the morning (she goes to school from 7:35 until 10:25) her teacher had all of the kids sit in a circle and they all said what their favorite part of the day was. When it was Kailey's turn she paused for a minute and then said, "My Mommy coming to school with me." I love my girls so much! Hopefully I will be able to volunteer in her classroom again soon.

Walnut Creek

On the way up to Oregon we were not able to stop in Walnut Creek (we had to drive for 28 hours in order to make it in time for the services). So, we were glad that we could stop in Walnut Creek for a day and see Grammy Bunny and Papa Bob on the way home. Also, Hilary Pangilinan was able to stop by for a visit!

Seattle, WA

We also made a day trip up to Seattle. We went to Pike's Place, but unfortunately the guys that throw the fish were off for labor day. :( We also went to the Space Needle, which was awesome. It was 80 degrees and there wasn't a cloud in the sky... so the view was amazing!

Megan and Grandma

Long Beach, WA

We went to Long Beach, WA with Peggy, Walt, Matt, Katie and Molly. We walked down to the beach, Kailey and Alexis got their faces painted and the girls went on a pony ride. It was a lot of fun!

Deer

One morning while we were in Astoria, I looked out the front window and saw some deer in the yard across the street. We brought the girls out to see them, since it is not something we see in Tucson! Megan got excited and tried to run up to them, which scared them away. The girls thought the deer were really cool.

Trip to Astoria, OR

We had to make a quick trip up to Oregon, because Tim's grandfather passed away. While we were there for a very sad reason, we were also really glad to see all of the Lindstrom relatives and introduce Zoey to the family.
